 Eloise Hamann has published her fourth Sci-Fi book. Her work has been described as combining the detailed world of Ursula Le Guin and the social criticism of Orwell. She has been a resident of Dublin since 1986 and began writing after retiring from teaching at San Jose State University, where she was described as the poet in the Math Department. Her love of puzzles led her to Mathematics, and her love of imagination and justice led her to writing. A trilogy of her poems about death won third place in a writing contest conducted by Las Positas College in Livermore.  |
