The Foster Princess

This is a novelette about Regina, a poor child who lived with her mother and many siblings in a country that once supported super giants. They lived in a shoe that had once belonged to one of these giants. She wore raggedy clothes and was taunted  by her school mates. When the king rode by observing this feisty little girl fighting her taunters, he was moved, and took her in to live with him and the queen. Needless to say, she struggled to fit in.
